bittersweet spring

23 years ago, on David's 8th birthday, he lost a 6 month old baby brother to SIDS. 

7 years ago, on March 18th, he lost a brother to suicide. 

The taste is bitter. 

But there is comfort is in knowing what Easter is all about.

 Resurrection.

 New life. 

That someday David will be able to greet his brothers once more..and rush into their open arms. 
The taste will be sweet.

This life is but a brief moment..
